In My Garden

In my garden
I pretend to grow things that last for exactly as long as I nourish them

In my garden
thai basil is flourishing
the italian basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, dill, and catnip need a bit more convincing
not to mention the lavender and cilantro I'm attempting to grow in pots indoors

In my garden
Emi is more than willing to eat the grass that sprouts up easier than anything else

In my garden

the tomatoes are making me happy
A rose has miraculously survived the past 5 years of my ineptness
A few annual flowers are thriving

In my garden
the moonflowers are poised to bud

In my garden
I can pretend to have a green thumb
I can sit in the evening hours with my laptop and a cup of tea
I can watch the rain

I'm a fan.

What's in your garden this year?

How nice.

Nothing is currently in my garden because I can't grow stuff. I try but plants apparently hate me.

My garden has been overtaken by some aggressive, green, fern like weed; it wasn't there one day but the next, after a sudden rainstorm, it covered the entire garden. Aliens? Hmmm. It's an analogy of my life...or my brain right now...I kind of know if I go cut them down, it'll be good for me but the weeds in my brain won't let me. Ok, sounding a bit dark here, it's not, it's sheer laziness. *L*

Unfortunately my attempts have resulted in dead herbs. I'm going to keep on trying though.

Sounds like this "generous girlfriend" is doing well. You go girl! :)

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning with your comment on my blog.

Since I live in a condo my garden consists of a few big pots filled with a mixture of flowers. I love working on my little garden and adding new flowers or moving them around once they get too big!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and your kind words. I really appreciate what you said.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

There are some flowers in my garden, but only stuff you can't kill like marigolds, because I suck at gardening. I don't have a green thumb, I have a black thumb.

My basil is ALSO doing well but the other herbs are not growing as much! Maybe Emery Place is just the place to grow basil!
