i'm one of those people
who NEEDS to see the ocean once a year or so
unfortunately i've always lived in landlocked states
the first time i saw the ocean? i was 20.
perhaps i need to make up for lost time!

up to point dume
it was fun
(although next time i'll wear something besides flip-flops to hike it in...)

I remember when you went to Malibu too! I need to see the ocean soon...hopefully next month, I guess. Ahhhh
I have lived five minutes from the ocean my entire life and I can totally relate to what you are saying. There is just something about it that soothes the soul. Though, I admit, being so close sometimes I do take that for granted. I try to remember what a blessing it is!
I love the ocean...I think its the cancer zodiac sign in me! There is something so calming about the sound and ambiance!

I am with you, one should visit the ocean at least once a year, I also say this cuz I live in the midwest...no oceans are nearby.
That sounds just lovely. I totally would have rocked flops too!
